Estee Lauder

In October 2013, we proudly celebrated the opening of the Somaly Mam Beauty Salon, in partnership with the Estee Lauder Companies and AFESIP Cambodia. The salon provides survivors of trafficking and sexual exploitation with the opportunity to learn world-class beauty skills and business operations training. This social enterprise offers the chance for survivors to become self-sufficient and empowered agents of change in Cambodia's growing economy, helping to move the needle and create a society that says “no more” to slavery and the oppression of women and girls.

AFESIP Fair Fashion

AFESIP Fair Fashion, co-founded by Somaly Mam and AFESIP, is now an independent entity dedicated to creating lines of survivor-made products and textiles.

AFF is a social enterprise that supports the empowerment and reintegration of women victims of trafficking, sexual exploitation, and physical abuse in Cambodia, to help them return to a normal life with economic independence. Victims of trafficking and sexual exploitation are among the most marginalised and neglected groups in Asian society. The primary objective at AFF is to help these vulnerable women through job creation, fair employment, enterprise and skills development as well as providing them with mental health counselling and medical care. Women in the AFF program produce high-quality products under the principles of fair trade, and profits from the sale of these products are reinvested into the program to help more women receive a second chance.

The Somaly Mam Foundation's Empowerment Store sources items from AFESIP Fair Fashion.

PROJECT FUTURES Ltd.

Combining a socially engaged network, a fun and motivational activity and a life-changing experience of meeting survivors of sex trafficking, provided the catalyst to what would eventually become PROJECT FUTURES.

Over the past four years, PROJECT FUTURES has raised over $660,000 for the Somaly Mam Foundation.
