The Lipstick Portraits
Deeply moved by the image of a young Cambodian girl standing in a brothel doorway wearing bright red lipstick, photographer and beauty industry expert Michael Angelo created the Lipstick Portraits as both an expression of solidarity for trafficking victims and a defiant stand against those who would take the tools of self-expression and use them to enslave and exploit.
